Open College Network (OCN) West Midlands Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming – 603/0891/6

The Open College Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming was launched in January 2017 by the Open College Network West Midlands. This new qualification was introduced as an alternative route to City & Guilds.

The OCN Qualification is the same level as the full Level 3 Diploma for City & Guilds and both are regulated by Ofqual and the only dog grooming qualifications on the National Educational Framework.

There are no formal examinations involved and assignments and worksheets can be completed in the classroom or by distance learning.You have 3 years to complete this qualification and cover the required 383 Guided Learning Hours (GLH)

Carry out styling and finishing a dog

Health checking a dog by a dog groomer

Promote and maintain the health and wellbeing of animals

Welcome, receive and care for customers
